About the artist, Baruch Hadaya
One can say, amazingly enough, that the artist Baruch Hadaya has never sold his work to a stranger. It's strange to say such a thing about an international artist, renown throughout the world for the originality and creativity of his art, but the fact is that Baruch Hadaya, aside from being an artist and creator, is first and foremost a warm and open human being who makes visitors to the gallery feel they are close friends of his. The act of selling turns into a relaxed and direct social meeting, not a business negotiation with a client.

Baruch Hadaya is a 16th generation native of Jerusalem and his creative environment, the Jewish Quarter inside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem, has a deep effect on his creations. Hadaya abundantly uses antique elements, such as coins and beads, which emphasize the mystic uniqueness of his work environment. These are all added to a vivid imagination and talent.

Hadaya isn't just a jewelry designer, he is an artist who sculpts each and every piece, shaping it into a unique and original design. His materials are 18K gold, diamonds, rubies, pearls and emeralds. He has won his excellent reputation through the quality of materials he uses and the precision of his handiwork.

Hadaya makes a laughing stock of every "rule" in jewelry making. He sets diamonds in silver ,interweaves leather with gold and so on. Hadaya has created a unique style of rough primitive forms combined with delicate and refined settings that create a wonderful and fascinating contrast. No two pieces made by Hadaya are similar. Each and every design is uniquely handcrafted. Attached to every piece of jewelry is an original certificate attesting to the fact that this work of art is one of a kind.
